Surfactante
Sustancia que reduce la tensión superficial alveolar y cuya deficiencia causa el síndrome de dificultad respiratoria del prematuro. Se administra por vía endotraqueal cuando el prematuro en CPAP requiere FiO2 de 30% o más, sin esperar radiografía ni gasometría.
